What Is Book It?
Book It is our onsite booking and payment system that allows you to securely book and pay for reservations directly through a property’s listing page. Finally you can book a vacation rental as easily as you'd book a hotel room!
HOW IT WORKS
When you book a property using Book It, your paid reservation request will immediately be sent to the property owner, who has 48 hours to accept or decline the booking. This review period is built in to allow time for you and the owner to communicate: communication between the owner and potential renters is a central part of booking a vacation rental!
- If The Owner Accepts The Reservation: You will receive a confirmation email, your credit card or PayPal account will be charged, and ‘My Trips’ in your Dashboard will be updated with complete travel details.
- If The Owner Declines The Reservation: You will receive an email notifying you of the declined booking and you will not be charged a penny.
WHY USE BOOK IT?
Book It brings convenience, security and open communication to the rental process. Book It includes a messaging system so you and the owner can communicate in real-time while paying with credit card is far more secure than sending a cheque to a stranger via snail mail. Also, using Book It eliminates any delays or complications that could get in the way of booking your perfect property!
